Chocolate Nut-Butter Frosties

– Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free  –

Looking for a cool treat to finish a meal with something slightly sweet?  This is my go-to “keep ’em in the freezer” dessert that keeps me afloat all summer long!

Ingredients

1 cup coconut yoghurt
1/4 cup nut butter
1 Tbsp maple syrup

Nappage

100g bar of dark chocolate
1 Tbsp coconut oil

  •  Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix to incorporate.  You want a nice, homogenous texzture.
  • Portion into a silicon mold and place in freezer overnight.
  • Remove squares from the mold and return to freezer.
  • Melt the chocolate in a “bain-marie”.  Dip each square in the chocolate, or place the chocolate in a piping bag and decorate as desired.
  • Decorate with nut chunks according to the nut butter used.
  • Reserve in the freezer and serve cold.
